Minerva First Christian Church gathers every Sunday for Sunday School @ 9 AM and Worship @ 10:15 AM
What to Expect:
Sunday School and Worship at Minerva First Christian Church is engaging, challenging, and Spirit-filled. We welcome you as you are and look forward to building a relationship with Christ together. Our church is completely handicap accessible with an elevator. Our Sunday school classes last about 50 minutes. They open with prayer, then go into teaching God’s Word with class engagement and participation, and close with a prayer or prayer request time. After Sunday school there is a 15 minute break where we invite you to get some coffee, tea, etc in the lobby, mingle, and meet other church members. If that’s not your thing, feel free to come into the sanctuary where you will be greeted by one of our friendly ushers and can listen to some pre-music and enjoy our announcement slides on the screens. Worship begins with a prelude or video, then our worship team leads the church in songs, followed by an elder led guided prayer, communion (offered each Sunday), message by lead minister Jason Jackson (from God’s Word which will challenge you to grow in your spiritual journey), an invitation song, closing prayer, and finally a closing song. After that you are free to go and spread God’s Word with others in the community, your workplace, etc. Songs are projected on the screens as well as sermon notes to sing and follow along with. Our worship service usually lasts about an hour and fifteen minutes. We look forward to seeing you!
What about my kids?
